LiveInTheRealWorld.com and Askxx Digital Media Ltd operate as a fully independent UK certification body. We are not affiliated, associated, authorized, endorsed by, or in any way connected with any other business, digital training platform, or individual operating under the name 'The Real World' or any similar variations.
Welcome to LiveInTheRealWorld.com. These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the "Member" or "Partner") and Askxx Digital Media Ltd. ("Company," "We," "Us"), the operator of the LiveInTheRealWorld.com platform. This agreement covers both Single Business Memberships and Channel Partner Plans. By using our platform, purchasing credits, or displaying our Seal, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms.
1.2. Our Own Commitment & AI Disclosure: Askxx Digital Media Ltd. formally pledges to abide by the same 3-Pillar criteria required of our members. In accordance with the EU AI Act 2026 transparency obligations, we disclose that while we utilize Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a utility to assist in building, technical maintenance, and marketing functions, we guarantee that all direct client and member interactions are human-first. Our AI usage is classified as non-high-risk and is used solely for back-end efficiency. We do not use automated barriers or bots to replace human empathy and decision-making in our professional relationships with you.
2.1. Proprietary Rights: All content, images, trademarks, "Human-First" Seals, certification methodology, 3-pillar frameworks, and underlying source code are the exclusive property of Askxx Digital Media Ltd.
2.2. Prohibition of Unauthorized Use: You are strictly prohibited from copying, reproducing, redistributing, or using any images or text from this website without explicit prior written consent from Askxx Digital Media Ltd.
2.3. Anti-Scraping: The use of automated systems, software, or AI-crawlers to extract data, member directory information, or visual assets for any purpose is a material breach of these terms and may result in immediate legal action.
2.4. Non-Derivatives: Members and Partners agree not to create, promote, or sell any "lookalike" or competing certification standards that utilize the Company's proprietary pillars or marketing language.
2.5. Limited License of the Trust Badge: The "Human-First Seal" is not sold, but licensed. Askxx Digital Media Ltd retains absolute ownership of all certificates, badges, and reports. We grant certified businesses a limited, non-exclusive, and revocable license to display the badge, valid only for the duration of an active subscription and ongoing compliance with the 3 Pillars.
2.6. Anti-Misuse and DMCCA Enforcement: Unauthorized display of our trust mark is a direct breach of the UK's Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 (DMCCA), which legally bans displaying unauthorized trust marks. We reserve the right to report unauthorized users to local Trading Standards for prosecution, and we will utilize DMCA takedown notices and intellectual property infringement proceedings under the Trade Marks Act 1994 to remove stolen logos from unverified websites.
3.1. Single Member: An individual business entity that registers directly for certification at the standard retail rate. Membership is valid for the registered domain/entity only.
3.2. Channel Partner: An agency or consultant who purchases certification credits in wholesale batches for the purpose of reselling or providing them to their own client portfolio.
3.3. Corporate Network Member (Enterprise): A corporate entity that registers multiple physical locations or digital domains under a single Master License (e.g., the Regional Network or National Corporate tiers). The designated Compliance Officer executing the agreement is formally binding the entire organizational network to the 3-Pillar self-certification standard.
3.4. Proof of Legitimacy: All businesses must provide a valid UK Company Registration Number (CRN: 16093520) or equivalent legal identifier upon registration.
3.5. Manual Verification Call: To maintain the integrity of our pledge, a member of our team will call every business following registration. This follow-up call is mandatory to verify the human-first status. We reserve the right to perform our own due diligence before issuing the Seal, relying fully on your self-certification of the 3 pillars.
3.6. Right to Suspend and Revoke: We reserve the right to refuse, suspend, or immediately revoke a certification—without a refund—if a client is found to be failing their self-certified standards, using prohibited AI tools as primary barriers, or acting in a manner that brings our certification body into disrepute.
Every business displaying the Human-First Seal must adhere to the 3 Core Pillars. Certification is granted solely based on the Member's formal self-certification. There is no external audit process:
Human staff must be the primary point of greeting for physical locations. No mandatory automated barriers.
Primary phone lines must provide a direct path to a human agent within 30 seconds.
Customer emails and support chats must be manned by humans capable of providing nuanced empathy.
4.4. Self-Certification Protocol: Membership is contingent upon the Member's agreement to follow the 3 Pillars. By applying, the Member self-certifies and warrants that they are in full compliance with these standards.
For members utilizing the Enterprise or Corporate Network tiers, the Master Pledge is signed by the designated HQ Compliance Officer. The Corporate Entity legally acknowledges that:
5.1. Resale Rights: Partners are granted the right to resell certification credits to third-party businesses. Partners keep the margin between wholesale cost and their retail price.
5.2. Credit Validity: Wholesale credits remain valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
5.3. Fulfillment: The Company handles the certification process once a credit is assigned by the Partner.
5.4. Mandatory Registration: Business Partners must register every business they sign up via the official Partner Portal at liveintherealworld.com/partner-portal.
5.5. Credit Allocation & Exhaustion: Partners can only sell memberships up to their purchased allocation. Partners must renew credits before registering more members.
5.6. Short-Term Compliance Liability: If a Partner registers a business flagged for failing the Core Pillars within 30 days, the Partner may be held liable to refund the equivalent membership fee.
5.7. Wholesale Partner Accountability: While agencies can resell certification credits, the ultimate approval and active status of the end-client remain at our sole discretion. Third-party agency partners agree to pass all self-certification and compliance obligations down to their end-clients.

8.1. No Legal Advice: LiveInTheRealWorld.com (operated by Askxx Digital Media Ltd) is a certification body, not a legal firm. The assets provided (Checklists, Briefings, and Trust Seals) are for informational and operational purposes only.
8.2. Member Responsibility: By self-certifying, the Member acknowledges that they are responsible for the actual execution of the 3 Pillars within their organization. Askxx Digital Media Ltd is not liable for any regulatory fines, legal actions, or consumer disputes arising from a Member’s failure to maintain these standards or other unrelated legal requirements.
8.3. The Proof of Intent: The Human-First Seal is intended to serve as a public-facing declaration of human oversight, helping to fulfill the transparency requirements of modern AI legislation.
9.1. AI Transparency: In accordance with EU AI Act Art. 52, we mandate that any AI used by certified members must be clearly disclosed to the end-user. The "Human-First" Seal serves as a secondary indicator of compliance with transparency obligations.
9.2. Human Oversight: All certification decisions and member-to-company interactions are subject to strict human oversight (Art. 14) to prevent automated bias or errors in the verification process.
10.1. Data Portability & Access: Under the 2025 Act, members have the right to request a machine-readable export of their certification data. We provide streamlined access to verified business identity records upon formal request.
10.2. Trust Framework: We operate within the UK’s Digital Identity and Trust Framework, ensuring that our manual verification calls contribute to a secure and verified business ecosystem.
11.1. Indemnity: The registered business agrees to fully indemnify and hold harmless Askxx Digital Media Ltd against all claims, costs, legal fees, and damages arising from any breach of these terms, or from third-party claims relating to how the business operates or interacts with its customers.
11.2. Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Askxx Digital Media Ltd excludes all liability for any indirect loss, loss of profits, data loss, or reputational damage resulting from the use of, or reliance on, our certification service or website. While we conduct manual verification calls and investigate reports through compliance reviews, we rely entirely on the ongoing honesty and self-certification of members to maintain these standards. Total liability is limited to the amount paid by the member/partner in the preceding 12-month period.
